And the kits are almost ready for dispatch too. They are just waiting on the sign off for the testing done on the first production unit made that will be going to market. I heard a little rumour this could be as early as next Monday and that Andy @ PPP may have some details later today :)

I was watching a movie about these girls who wanted to ride on the "Bonnet" of a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Stupid movie but great visuals. A Quentin Tarantino film.

Anyway, did you consider the SMS supercharger? According to their ad. it installs easily under the stock hood of all applications including the...whole list of Lx's and Jeeps.

Not sure yet and hard to compare to anything as nothing like it has been done yet. A few figures have been tossed around but its numbers at the track we are chasing not dyno.

    Thanks mate!

With what we are wanting to achieve, the size of this blower is the smallest we could go. Also the cooling capabilites I needed for this could not be matched by anything else on the market or soon to me released on the market, hence where half the height taken up. Plus I don't mind it poking through the bonnet :)

Haven't actually seen the SMS running yet or heard any results from it. Is there anything yet. Looks like it could be a good kit though.

Are you just going to cut a hole in the hood for road testing or are you having a hood modified?

On a 300, come on guys that shit is gonna look silly as hell. I love the power plant, but if its gonna look crazy and un-appealing then i'd take another route.

I'd run the CMW BDS supercharger and cut a huge hole in my hood, other than that, no.
    :p

LOL.....The bonnet is not going to be over the top. I will be running 2 bonnets.

For shows etc my existing bonnet will be cut out to the shape of the blower/drive snout. Also looking at having a belt guard similar to the old school 6/71+ blower

For street driving the bonnet will be raised from the front to clear the height of the blower, but I will be keeping with the exact same lines as the OEM bonnet. Now I am in 2 minds as to whether I would go for an open front bonnet (as shown below but with black mesh) or have it fully sealed up and blended into the front of the bonnet (mmore like a bulge). Will get a couple of pics up to show. Heres one for now that I am keen on.

IMHO Daniel, I LOVE the aggressive look of the raised hood you first pictured. And yes, the black inserts would look better.

    Hey Ron hows things.

Just got to work out how high its going to be though. If the opening has to be too high I will just enclose it I think. Will see what I need then decided.

Was also thinking of having either vents in each of the rear corners (near windscreen - similar to the GT500 KR Mustang) or have the rear part raised higher instead of meeting where it does. What to decide...hmmm!
