It was nice weath 72* but there were A LOT of cars there including 30+ Corvettes for some gathering or other.

I didn't beat my best of 12.36@112 as I couldn't get any traction in the cool weather with my Vredesteins. I ran a best of 12.61@112 on my first pass. My times stayed about the same but my 60' times kept going up! A friend videotaped one run where I thought I was being gentle off the line and I was spinning like crazy (didn't even hear or feel it).

A stock SRT Challenger ran consistent 13.4s @ 105MPH. A 300 with nitrous ran 13.00@112. Looked like he was having traction problems too. Someone told me his car was a V6 with a V8 transplant (unknown 5.7 or 6.1). My buddy's bolt on/CMR tuned Charger SRT8 ran stockish numbers (mid 13s @108) although I've seen him run 12.71@111 in the past.

I think the DA was probably between 300 and 800' but the cool weather made for sucky traction.

The Corvettes did pretty nice. Lots of low 12s @ 120 MPH. I figured these were LS3s with bolt ons and street tires.

There was a stock '03 M3 there (the 416 HP one) that ran 13.1@111 MPH. He looked like he was launching really soft.

My buddy's '77 Monaco 4-dr police car with 440 Magnum engine ran mid 14s and 100 MPH.

There was even a Tesla electric sports car there that ran 12.7!! Kind of cool.

    '08 M3s are running V8s with about 416 hp. The newer ('06 and up) M5 (V10) have 507 hp.

    Nice cars

Is he running a 5.7 or 6.1? I think he was on street tires so I would assume that would explain the difference in times. I also heard from someone that he was running a cam but stock heads.

4 runs in 5 hours. I redlighted by .03 on my second bracket race.
