I found this video on Livernois website and fell in love with the exhaust note. I was just curious if anyone knows Darren or knows what mods he has done(EG. 40 or 44's, reso's or not..etc..etc)? Thanks, Shane http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/video/Charger Super Bee.wmv
I have the Flowmaster 44's mufflers and Blastin Bob resonator delete pipes in back, on my Super Bee. I also have a CAI installed, my Bee sounds very similar to the one in the video you posted.
sounds familiar to me as well.... My Car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC55K1ZUgFs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26U7Q-FAjdY when i get back to the dyno i will get a shot like the superbee you posted... I am running Magnaflow HF Cats and Flowmaster Super 44's with an Airhammer
That car belongs to a nice fellow who was one of the first to experiment with putting 17's on his car for racing. Dang! I'll have to look back in my archives to find his handle but, Daren, was instrumental in assisting me with information on hub adaptors for my car to clear the front calipers for my steel wheels and winter tires. As I recall, he was also experimenting with a scary dry shot and getting very impressive results at the track before several members told him to back off for fear of grenading his mill. As I say though, real good lad, very understated and nice to chat with. Lemme see if I can find 'im.
oh ok, this is the guy who let a Mustang buddy who showed him how to install the NOS kit in a DRY manner? Thought he was running a 75 wet shot when it was actually a 300 dry shot. Wonder what ever happened to him? He sort of disappeared after that fiasco.
Yup, same guy, Ron. I recall that he became rather irritated at some of the insights brought by various members in the know (Jmatt et al). He just wanted to go about his business in his own way but when called out (in a caring manner), he just kind of pulled the plug on the OC. Bummer really because he wasn't afraid of covering new ground despite the fact that it might have been detrimental to his ride. As I recall, he was bumping high 11's with DR's and the dry shot. We were all amazed at the time...he even pulled some of his plugs to show us photos of the degradation. I hoist a glass to, Daren...fellow 8 owner gone quiet.
Hmm thats a shame. I was wondering what type of wheels those were, as it wasnt very clear in the vid. Thanks for your time though. Shane
Yea, Matt was not trying to be an ass (lol can't believe I just said that), more caring than anything else. My glass is raised as well. "Why is the rum gone"? tee hee
