Got my ZEX nitrous System, now some questions

    Well its done. I started around 11am and its now 2:30pm. Not to bad. That includes a run to the autoparts store to get the fuel disconnect. Now I just have to get the bottle filled and try it out.

    yea ur going to be a happy guy when its up and running do you have a window switch?

    Not at the moment. I am waiting to hear back from a forum member that I am purshacing a zex window switch from. Right now I have the 75 shot jets and wired to the gas pedal

    Can I use the stock spark plugs with just a 75 shot? The guy that was suppose to get me my plugs told me today, when I went to pick them up, they are special order and cant get them by sunday. I called all the autoparts stores in this area and no one has them.
    Can I get by with the stock plugs with a 75 shot?

    How about the NGK 4306 plugs? Some say they are using them, but they are the same heat range as the stock plugs.

    Those are one step colder for 5.7L engines, and I think that's why some people were using them. I'd wait for the right plugs.

    Well I talked to Henson and they told me to call Art in the morning, but I should have the plugs in my hand by Friday. If not guess I'll have to wait for another day. Damn. I thought I had what I needed.

    Matt did you sell all your Nitrous Stuff?

    With a 75 shot you should be able to run the stock plugs with No issues.They say over 75 is when the change should be made.Truth be told I ran a 100 shot on stock plugs for a long time with out issues.But all the books say that is a no no..

    Well I got the bottle filled today. $50 sound about right to fill a 10lb bottle? I wanted to go out and test it but it was pouring most of the morning and the streets are all wet.

    I am going to be running a 75 shot sunday. I ran a 12.74 before the nitrous. What times should I be looking at with the 75 shot?

    I haven't had a chance to dig throuch to see what I still have. I probably have enough stuff to put together a full purge system though.

    is it safe to run a 75 shot on stock timeing and stock spark plugs

    I pay 50$ here in norcal or at lest I did. all this talking about nitrous I might have to add mine back on when I put on the blower

    Had a pretty good day. I ran 12.34 twice and a couple 12.4's. Now I just need to finish putting the system together. Bottle pressure was only at 700 because I do not have a heater yet and do not have a purge. Im going to finish getting everything I need and then up it to the 100 shot and see what times that will yield.

    Cool, glad you are liking it. Take a look at the dynotune nitrous bottle heater. Its pressure regulated and is alot better than the ZEX unit.

    Yep, Matt you where right on. Whats funny was I did a little burn out, activated the system, did the run. I could fell the nitrous kick in but was like "That was alright, couldn't feel it that much, probably good for a few tenths" pulled around and got the slip and was like 12.34. Damn. Cant wait to get all the parts and run the bigger shot.

    I plan on ordering that dynotune heater, looks like a good one.

    I did a total of 1 run with the 75 hp jets in.
    Then I did a total of 1 run with the 100 hp jets in.
    The rest is history. LMAO!!
