Hahahaha!! True. My feelings weren't hurt, and it's pretty hard to do that anyway. Dang!! LMFAO! I like that! Or $20,000 in trade for a 2008 Corvette C6 Z51. And then it was stolen....... And did I mention the police recovered it 6 weeks later? Apparently in pretty decent shape.
Just a toss around but what if they used the same technology on the 6.1 that they used on the new HEMI 5.7? Extrapolating the numbers from the bump with the new 5.7, there could be a modest bump of about 20 to 25 horsepower and 15 to 20 pound feet of torque with the use of variable cam timing. I think that the new Viper engine uses the same technology. Now if they could then implement the use of direct injection, that may provide an additional bump in power as well as better fuel mileage. That may push the hp and torque numbers between 475 and 490. No ability to change the cam to date with this design though. Thoughts....
If 470 is all the 6.4 is gonna be, then fuck it. I would rather build my 6.1. If it was gonna be 525 then i would be exited!
The changes that I was talking about was to the 6.1 engine; not the 6.4. 470 out of the 6.1 would actually be alright with those changes.
