That`s right, i`m moving to dallas at the end of december. My hotel has been sold, so no more job for me. I am actually kinda releived to be getting out of the hotel business as i am tired of dealing with 10 people a day trying to get over on the hotel with total BS. I will be looking for a job in the fort worth area, or bedford. I am really wanting to get back into gun sales, but i don`t know if it will pay enough....have to check into that when i get to dallas. I will also be looking to hook up with the local Mopar club in dallas/Fort worth. Any help with the job hunt would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the sale. Why move to Dallas? I would think Austin would have provide some great career opportunities?

AUSTIN SUCKS!!!! I don`t own the hotel, so the sale does nothing for me but put me out of a job.

    hotels

I work for laquinta inn and suites and i also have experience with all holiday inn products.....hamptons, HI express. I have been the ASST GM here for 2.5 years and was the front desk manager at Hampton for 2 years. When i got here this hotel was doing about 1 mil a year and the last two years we hit 2.4 mil and looks like we will do about 2.1 mil this year. If your looking for a good man let me know.....i am single with no kids, exept my little dog and my SRT, so relocating would be no problem.

Sounds like a plan....pm me your phone # so i can call you.

I'll keep that in mind, working for a InterContinental Hotel brand is a real good thing. Pay for hotel workers in NM is low so if you are looking check out hcareers.com, casinocareers.com. I just saw a posting last week for Director of Hotel Ops in Phoenix for 98-115k a year on one of those two sites...you probably have good experience for that.

    Here it is:

    http://www.casinocareers.com/jobdetails.cfm?jobid=20011

Edit-- The good thing about a position like this, is it is alot more professional than HI Expresses, Hamptons, Choice, Accor or Wyndham, this would be a really fun and good job.
