still looking to see why this is better than anything else. i do like some of the billet aspects of the system, and it does appear to be made well, but man, how much different can a cai be, and at that price???? the only ones that i have ever seen any real dyno marks to be proven are the hammer and afe. this one looks a lot like a air raid.

I haven't seen one in person, but considering the quality of Techco products, I'm guessing it's the reflection of the polished surface in the pic. Or maybe it IS you? :hug:
That's an old photo of one of the prototype parts that was seam welded together and then the whole part was polished as a test piece. The production parts are seemless with a mandrel bend on either end. The polished part looks sweet...

Jeez-o-pete........when is this CAI war going to end. If you take the worst and put it up against the best, it's such a negligable amount that......nevermind.
CAI war? I'm not following you on that, but I installed the Techco CAI yesterday and posted information about it. We haven't said anything about any other brands being better or worse, just restating what Techco has provided us for this kit and what my personal experience has been as of yesterday, lol.
