http://jalopnik.com:80/5061942/900-hp-super-cuda-super-challenger-by-mr We anticipate the Dodge Challenger will have a substantial showing at this years SEMA show, and if these two entries from Mr. Norm are any indication, its going to be a big horsepower show. The "Super Challenger" and "Super Cuda" are a pair of heavily modified Challengers sporting 900 HP from Kenne Bell supercharged V8s in addition to their snappy styling and big wheels. Considering the heft of the Challenger is one of its biggest problems, 900 HP seems a good starting point for upgrades. The production program for both won't start with 900 horses. Instead, they'll start at a base model, complemented by several stages with upscale performance and accessories. In addition, each of the parts and add-ons featured on the Mr. Norm's Super Challenger will be available to enthusiasts separately. So feel free to mix and match at your pleasure. Two of the most humorously cheesy press releases since Velveeta went into business await below to explain the details.
The drawings look great, but WHO is "Mr Norm"? And to get 900 ponies out of the 6.1, even with a KB blower, good luck with that.
Like you know anything about horsepower Mr. I have big wheels and a CAI!! Have you got your final dyno numbers? I've been waiting to see some video!!
LOL...... Car went back yesterday to have the package and new trans fitted. Was great driving it around for a week after missing it for so long. Only dyno numbers so far are on the 426 run n/a with quick tune and myself/HP-F/RDP were extremely happy with the results it achieved. The car is an animal to drive and is putting out heaps more power/torque now (N/A) than when I was running the stock motor and RDP-Bullet blower. Can't wait for it all to be screwed back together thats for sure. Not long now, maybe a couple of weeks.
LOOOOOOOOOOTS a boost?.....and them only turning the car on to dyno it and then never running it again so it doesnt blow up? lol
If your 426 is making way more power than the previous bullet set up that's very impressive. I rode in a bullet car with H/C and it was amazingly powerful.
Thanks mate. As I mentioned extremely happy with how it was N/A. I am just hanging to get the car finished now and straight to the track. The good news is the track closest to me has just been refurbished and opened 2 weeks ago so its all falling into place now..... WOO HOO can't wait .
