If Cadillac fixed all the probs from the previous models it should be a beast. I want to see how it holds up after a year of driving......tranny, halfshalfts, and so on. Several friends of mine had the older models and could`nt keep em out of the shop due to drivetrain problems. Like i said above though.....if they beefed it up to take the pounding, then it should be awsome! I just hope they don`t make a mistake like nissan did with their tranny`s for the GTR
standard engine + sc....they werent gonna forge the internals. maybe they will offer a super v or something to that effect later in the production line. this would offer an engine similar to the zr1 just less hp.
I have the 6.2 in my escalade Ext, with the 6 speed auto it has plenty of power and is rather easy on had. Now all I need is some F/I and to lower it 33 inches... Dahahaha!! That is one bad motha!!!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that...especially after watching the recent video that someone posted of the ACR Viper unable to push past 180 mph at Bonneville - wow, that's about all I can say.
lets just say we will believe it when we see it. anyone who has ever gone over 180 knows what starts to happen at that speed....
