YUP! Hit my house and my two neighbors houses to the North. The scary part was I was in the backyard when I watched it touch down. lol I had to make a mad dash inside and grab the dog and head to the interior bathroom. I have some pictures, but have yet to download them as I am waiting for the rain and hail to stop so I can assess more damage. So far all of the tile on my roof is gone (back side of the house), swamp cooler is toast, patio furniture and landscaping. I am sure that I will start seeing leaks in the upsairs in the near future. lol Will get pics up this evening. Tiles gone and misc stucco damage. Swamp Cooler and Chimney flashing damage. The flood (after hail melts lol) and debrit scattered... Debrit in the front yard. haha Both neighbors houses with damage and debrit.
meh, It wasn't that bad. But thanks. The worst is going to clean everything up. hahaha Thanks for the call Wade. Enjoy the rest of your B-Day. :huglove:
holy shit ron, i had no idea buddy!!! i am just glad you guys are all right!!! reminds me of my place after the hurricanes of 04'!!! let me know if there is anything you need......anything buddy!!!
Appreciate it Chris. All is good. Maureen is at work, so it was me and the dogs. Already made my claim to Farmers, so I should see my adjuster by Monday and start getting the Roofers out within the week.
hoooooooooooooooooooooooooly crap that sucks... but debris can be picked up...no structural damage is a good thing.... so long as ron, maureen, the dogs, 1bad4dr, and the SRT10 are good....thats alllllll that matters haha
Tornado my ass............Hal stopped by and farted didn't he. :good: Damn buddy, that blows. :tomato:
Thanks Steve. Lil structural damage, but nothing that can't be repaired. And yes, the family is fine. Maureen was at work, so she didn't get to experience it. I think she is pissed not being able to see it happen. lol bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
ron - just told jen and the boys what happened....... first thing out of colby's mouth....... "is the car ok"............ what a kid.....i am soooo proud *tear wells up in the corner of chris' eye*..... lol
Ron: Sorry to hear what happened. I suffered a total loss of my house in 1992. Had to move out for 10 months while they scraped the house down to the foundation and had to rebuild. Glad to know that it isn't worse. Also glad the car wasnt outside. You would have had a a hell of a sandblasting job on ONEBAD........
Wow, glad you are OK, it looks like the roof took the brunt of the damage. Good that you have the insurance company on it already so you can get that roof repaired as soon as possible. Did you see the funnel cloud? If so, tell us about it. What temperature was it when it put down all of that hail? (I always have dreams about funnel clouds and tornados but have never seen one. I live where we have tornados every now and then.)
