Simpson armed robbery and kidnapping trial in Las Vegas. Court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said, "We have a verdict." Sommermeyer said the verdict will be read at about 10 p.m in Clark County District Court. The 61-year-old former football star and a golfing buddy, 54-year-old Clarence "C.J." Stewart, were tried on 12 criminal charges in the alleged gunpoint robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a casino hotel room last year. Each faces five years to life in prison if convicted of kidnapping, or mandatory prison time if convicted of armed robbery. The jury of nine women and three men deliberated more than 13 hours Friday.
why this even happened is beyond me. He could not have done this if he would have been in jail from when he committed MURDER!!!!!!!!!
I'll always remember "the Juice" from his pre-double-murder and pre-multi-kidnap/armed robbery days back in Buffalo, my hometown... we all can only wish to reach the heights of stardom, fame and fortune as he... ... of course we could all do without the near beheadings and such, but, come on folks! That's all in the past! Live and forgive, right?!?!
HE will end up in that federal prision up in NorCal for "elite" prisioners. It is almost like a resort with bars. They don't do hardly anything.
I think the only time they move a prisoner from state to state is if its a federal crime he committed. HE will probley stay in nevada where the crime was committed.
