but i wont post pics of the ride until the kw's go in. however, comma, pause for effect, when we took the tires off my old wheels, HO-LY CRRRAP! bear in mind it came off one of the front wheels, origional tire that came with the car, has almost 40,000 miles on it. that amount of wear goes all the way around both tires. lucky me eh?
Umm, Markus... Pal... You do realize that those shouldve been thrown out about 20,000 miles ago?!?! Those are more dangerous than Iraq! Btw: congrats on the new kicks!
Looks just like what is going on with the Jeep guys there was a recall on those tires at one time you must have missed it

the cornering might explain why they look like that!!! in all seriousness, when i went back to cali for spring fest, i stopped in phx for a couple of days to see my mother. the first day i am there, she asks me to look at her car (merc e class) because it was making a wierd noise and shimming when she drove...... i took one look at the back tires and saw nothing but the INNER belts.....went waaaaay beyond the steel!!! hahahahaha when asked how she never noticed this, she replys "should i have looked???".....hhahahahahaha i just love my mother!!! lol

Were those treads on the inside front? I have the same problem (About 25k)and I guess I will need an alignment when I receive the Vredesteins. Been waiting almost three weeks for the new tires. I can't get over 55mph without a little bouncing in the steering wheel.
yup, inside front, both wheels. for me it was a very violent rivetting in the wheel at 80. so bad that literally the entire car shook. i ordered vreds like a month ago, still waiting on them.
