While 31K is a nice price, I think it is a tad high for an 06. Check Ebay or even CarMax for price comparison.

If he would come down to 27K, then I would say buy it.

There was a nice black one on ebay wit low miles and some simple mods for 30. I'd say be patient and you'll find a good deal. Oddly enough the prices of SRT's have went up lately. Being that it is winter and the Challenger is out I'd say prices will soon be falling.

I know where there is a fully loaded Super Bee for $36,000. Brand new with every option except for the rear DVD. Almost bought it, went with a caddy truck instead.

I have heard of some other people finding 06's for around 28K so I'd bet you could find one around that price. If you want the car badly then I'd make them an offer for about 27K and haggle with them until you get somewhere near 28K. The dealer knows he's not going to get the asking price of 31K. As far as options go...most of the SRT8's I've seen had all 3 of the group options and the mileage of 28K isn't that low so that shouldn't be a big selling point for them.

thanks for the input guys. We were able to get them down to $27,000. We got approved for the financing, but with the economy the way it is, we are going wait. We already have two very expencive SUVs and even thought we can afford the payments, we don't want to have more debt at this time. We are just going to sit back and save for atleast a year and see what the election does to America.
    Thanks again for the help.

One good thing is, my jeep mod funds will not be effected by another srt.
