For all of you who busted my balls about "STICKERS", here's the 'end' result... for now. I've got something SPECIAL planned for the not so distant future... IMO, it looks clean and everytime I pop my hood, I can reflect upon everything I've done to the car... BTW: This is my new favorite pic I'll be using tonight... reminds me of a dear friend...
ok man I am going to have nightmares Please drop the small mexican man pic. I liked the O snap a lot better. As for the underhood it looks great. Very well thought out. All my stickers are everywhere I really need to take them off. Maybe that will be my next mod
Jason....I need that KW sticker back whenever you get a chance. Oh, BTW...I've got a badass Vredestein sticker that will be going under my hood. This was researched by a few of us about a year ago. The part is actually a sound dampener and not heat shielding.
Hot? Paint? Every car prior to 1990 didn't have a heat shield... and they ran HOTTER than ours (especially with Diablo fan temp controls), so there's no worry... Getting automotive paint to bubble requires a skilled arsonist... believe me, I've worked an vehicular arson case and despite the entire interior and 3/4 of the exterior being SCORTCHED, the remaining paint was intact. BTW: If you have a Charger SRT8, you SHOULD take off the shield, as this allows outside air to hit your intake and not the plastic engine covers (more efficient cooling). I still have the one... where'd you get the Vredestein sticker?
