I had my personal best times at the track yesterday afternoon. After driving 1.5 hrs to the track and chilling the intake for 45-60 minutes (76 degrees out), I managed to beat my previous best when I ran in 60 degree weather. For what it's worth, the only change is the removal of my AFE Stage II intake for the RDP Cold Air Intake. IAT temps were at 80 degrees at the line, ECT temps at 180 as well. There was Final Points racing going on so I only got 3 runs all day and they allowed the test and tune guys to run only between rounds which took about an hour and a half. Anyways, sorry about the timeslip reversal....I scanned it here at work and didn't realize one was upside down. On the yellow time slip (where I lost lol), I raced a 10 second car and man, I've never raced one before and he launched out like a mofo. Pretty cool to see firsthand how many car lengths he had on me by the end of the 1/4 mile. What impressed in addition to the ET was the trap speed and my damn 60 foot time. My previous best 60 on street tires was a 1.92. Yesterday, I pulled off a 1.85 on Toyo Proxes4's (275's)...I should have my DR's and rims on before the end of the season Oct 28th. Just want to give a shout out for Dynosteve of RDP Motorsport and his tuning abilities (not to forget the CAI which I believe helped) as well as the BES/HHP Stage II package for getting a two-ton brick to pull so hard and surprise a lot of veterans yesterday . More to come! :headspin::woot:

Thanks guys!! I think my 60 foot time was also better because the track was warm especially with 8, 9 and 10 second cars running lol..

I did wash it but still have some rubber inside the wheel wells and on the sides of the rear bumper which is better than the million bugs I had on the windshield from the drive home.

Nice times Milan. Hope you can get out again this year. Cooler weather and DRs will have you into the 11's, although that is an impressive 60' for street tires.

That's really impressive Milan....especially on street tires. Did you do all the tricks; lowering rear tire pressure, increasing fronts, 1/4 tank of gas, etc?

Thanks guys...I did a 1.89 earlier which would be my second best 60 footer. I've thought these Toyos hooked better than the F1's in a straight line but never really knew since I went to the 275. I lowered the pressure in the rears to 28 and pumped the fronts up to 48. I ran bit over an 1/8th of a tank but brought some Sunoco 94 (5 gallons) with me since good gas is harder to find around this boondock racetrack...located in Sparta Ontario but called St. Thomas Dragway. If I would have known that it wasn't going to be as cool as the Weather Network said, I may not have went especially since I thought it was going to be quiet. Track sits at around 700-750ft elevation and it checking the weather network just now.....it says Sparta, ON topped out at 75 degrees.

Best run was when I stalled up to 1600rpm, rolled out briefly and mashed the pedal using autostick and shifting at 6400rpm. We'll chat about the rims later Stevo!

Great times Milan for being on street tires with the stock 20's. You should definitely see 11's on 17" rims and DR's, especially if you stall it higher off the line.

Man, I can't wait until I get my heads, cam, intake and LT's put on!!! I definitely have to practice more with stalling off the line on street tires without going up in smoke!(talking about on the street not the track...LOL). How's your car hook-up on the street?

With any kind of RPM on the street...not so good lol..I can usually roll out at 1200 and maybe get away with a decent launch. Of course, it depends on how much you roll out and the point where it's floored.
