I've had an Excel Spreadsheet for some time now that I bounce products back and forth on. I believe this is the setup that I will be happiest with. If you see something that needs another product to make it work let me know. Cam - what bushings were you recommending to me at Beach Burgers? Damn Rick, that's a hell of a list. The Pedders offset bushes for the rear upper control arm and traction arm to get the alignment back within spec. Also what ever Pedders has to bring the camber back inline for the fronts too.
I'd be very curious to see how this combination does on a road course. Geez, I always thought more low end grunt would be helpful and with that twin-screw, there won't be any question that you'll have it when you need it. That's kind of why I stressed HHP's Stage II package was a top-end setup. And btw, can I fly out for X-mas? lol.
Why only the 600hp half shafts...its not much more for the 900 and you wont ever have to do it again.
damn... nice list Bud! I need to do those end links myself. Will be interested to hear your eval of them. The tough thing about doing a big build like this is you aren't sure exactly what is working and what is just along for the ride. But it'd cost a crazy fortune to install one item at a time and eval them individually.
I hear you guys. I don't "plan" on going hog wild with the HP on this car. The 900 HP half shafts are an extra $1000.
I want that too! Thats a heck of a list... and the reason I stole your ideas... and will evaluate your car before I buy my stuff!!! LMAO! Rick, what price range are you looking at for the suspension/handling parts alone? Basically that's what I'm looking for, including the meth kit. *No one can say Rick isn't prepared for class!
Labonte Motorsports Water Methanol Kit $400.00 RDP 600HP Half Shafts $600.00 Quaife LSD $1,400.00 Razors Edge Bumpsteer Kit $179.95 B&M Supercooler Transmission Cooler $64.96 Razors Edge Cross Bar $100.00 Mopar Chassis Matrix Brace Chrome-Moly $369.95 Mopar LX Adjustable Swaybar Endlink Kit Front $189.95 Mopar LX Adjustable Swaybar Endlink Kit Rear $229.95 Razors Edge Mopar LX Shock Tower Brace $259.95 Stop Tech Braided Front Brake Line Kit $104.88 Stop Tech Braided Rear Brake Line Kit $91.88 ATE SL.6 High Performance Brake Fluid $14.88 $4,006.35 This is assuming the meth kit is around $400 (can't remember exactly). Of course this isn't including tax or installation. I'm also assuming "the fellas" might give me a hand on a few of the items as well minus the half shafts, LSD, and Chassis Brace. :friends:
We'll see. I'm waiting on some dynos to see the power band and torque curve it'll make on 4-5 lbs of boost. The choice comes down to either forging the bottom end and not doing a power adder or vice versa. If it makes 80-100 low end hp/torque I'm sure I'll be pretty satisfied. Since the odds are good that I'll never be putting drag radials on the car "I" think anything more would be a bit unruly!! :stretcher:
Sweet list there Brudda! Gonna be one twisty handling, mean beast when she's done. If the $$$'s are there, I do reommend building up the lower end. Trust me, you get used to the new power VERY quick... Lol!
