I picked up a nail in one of my OE runflats, & it's time for them to leave. I'd like to hear from anyone who has done the switch (pros / cons), & see some photos before I pull the trigger on the 315 / 275 upgrade. Thanks!
http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4225&highlight=toyo+proxes I have since switched to the Michelin Latitude HP's in the same size but the 315/275 is great, I love the wider stance and seem to trap higher MPH with this setup and the ride is MUCH better than stock
Any negative effects from the 315/35, 275/40 setup? Any pros/cons vs the stock size? I'm getting new wheels & I may change the tires/size. Any info is a plus, I've searched, & found no neg yet. TIA.
Nothing only positive I love the setup just beware that the Bridgestones run a little wider and may rub, so far the Michelin Latitudes, Toyo Proxes and Nitto 420S seem to be what everyone is liking or the V's. The Dunlops are too heavy from what I hear as well
Will the BS's rub on a stock Jeep? Or just lowered? Do the 315/275 tires look too wide for the wheel? I've seen the pics, just wondering if in-person they look too wide. I'd love to know if the other brands will work in snow as the oem do well. TIA.
Pics I run the Michelin Diamaris which are a bit more expensive than the Latitudes My 2006 IMG]http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j66/sgtstanko/IMG_0281.jpg[/IMG] My 2008
I just ordered the Vredesteins in 275/315 sizes. When they come in and get mounted I'll throw up some pics. The vreds were about $850 shipped btw.
I'd get Vreds if I didn't have to deal w/snow. I'm not even sure the BS's Dueler will work in snow. Plus, I do like the security of RF's.
Have you looked into the Michelin Latitude HP or the Micheline Latitude Alpin HP? http://www.michelinman.com/tires/winter/latitude-alpin-hp/
Weird, it only shows Diamaris & Lat Tour HP in 315/35? http://www.michelinman.com/action/t...dth=315&tireAspectRatio=35&tireRimDiameter=20 I like the Tour HP's, but I'm indecisive about RF's. I want the security of FR's, but there are very few choices.
