I've done that many a time over the years in my other cars, always seems to happen when you least want it to huh, doh! Lol! Uh Bob you can still be embarrassed with an auto and let me tell you how, lmao ... I have an 06 and never did the tranny tsb so it won't auto-upshift on it's own in manual mode (see where I'm going with this, lol) ... it's not pretty and quite embarrassing to be blowing the doors off someone and forget you're in manual mode and hit the rev limiter and have the car just die on you like you hit a brick wall, VERY embarrassing, lol!! :bag:
Oh better yet with the 06 SRT prior to the TSB .. push the stick the wrong way while you got some one beat bad and have it down shift and hit the rev limiter and then die on you..as you pull you face out of middle of the steering wheel with that glazed look over your eyes...
