The Gas stations usually don't control the price they're putting up, its usually their supplier. Each morning they get a call or such and are told what to charge for gas. Here in Santa Fe, gas station owners make 15-25 cents per gallon they sell. Most gas station/c-store owners make money from the cokes, candy, chips and other stuff they sell. My personal opinion for high gas prices....not supply and demand....alot of its the f'n media. They create so much of the panic that you see people run out of their houses, jump in there cars and run to the gas station to get the "last drop" of gas in the world.
I couldn't agree more! I've never blamed the gas stations, I know they get hosed in all this cause they don't make a profit yet have to hear all the bitchin from customers. It's Chevron and Texaco and Shell and the other big oil co's continually posting record BILLION dollar profits that get me, especially when OPEC says there's no oil shortage and even INCREASES production to help. Stupid friggin media and the gawd damn stock market that make it all worse too, I still don't get how the possibility of a huge earthquake in China can cause our gas prices here in Cali to skyrocket, lol, it's all bs to me!! BTW, gas is still dropping even after yesterdays record just in oil prices, we're at $3.75/gal for regular and it still appears to be falling (not enough in my book but it's something I guess).
that would be calf it be another couple of months before its a full gown cow. Calf are usually around 4mo-10mo when were sold and weigh around 300-600lbs a full grown cow will weight around 800+ yearlings are the ones inbetween a full grown cow (just guessing) will be around 45-55cents a pound Cheveron and Shell belong to Brewer oil company and im think there smaller then Exion/Mobil
Could not find a station with prem gas yesterday so I plugged in the SCT Tuner and flashed in the 100 octane tune...then I filled up with Turbo Blue 110 octane racing gas at $4.99 per gallon..rop:..
That was almost me Sunday...the only difference would have been. I'd have had to go borrow my mom's Kia:cry2she's out of town right now) intead of the whole re-tune race gas option. Thank God I found gas...:worthy:
ROTGLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2: Oh shiat Ron, I haven't laughed that hard in a while, thanks! BTW, Nev says a full grown cow costs 45-55 cents/lb, you see that!! Wait, of course you did, you already knew that didn't you, lol!
Prices don't really bother me... I have to pay them inorder to drive... so be it lol. But then again I haven't paid attention to the price of gas until I came in this thread. Usually I just roll up to the pump, fill up, and keep on driving till its time to fill up again lol.
It does seem unfair how the price seems completely dependent on the fabricated media hype. Its gonna stay that way though until we ween ourselves off of it.
OMG RON LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sides hurt I laughed so hard at that, thanks you homo!! That's friggin the funniest thing I think I've ever seen, lol!!!!!!!!! You need to make that your avatar, lmao!!!!!!!!!
anyone else notice all the guys saying they don't pay attention to the price of gas drive 4's...
QFT....I average 25.5 with ac and spirited driving. Plus our tanks are only 13.3-5 gallons. Gas has actualy gone down here, but damn you guys/gals in the southeast whew..sorry
