I'm considering getting a Challenger, so we went to the dealership just to see them ... again. Online it said they had a black R/T but they didn't actually have it there. Here are some pics of all the V6 ones they had on the lot.

How do I look in the black one?

I am surprised how nice the V6 ones are!! The more I see them and let myself like them, the more I would love to have a black R/T ...

Black is nice and the new Hemi 5.7's are supposed to be more efficient. You already have a crazy HP car...I say DO IT!! No V6 though...imo, they're excruciatingly slow for any heavy car. Your eyes will bleed....srsly.

You look great in that thang, Lisa.
Having oggled one for about an hour the other day, I came away thinking that it's just too big a car for a V-6...R/T or SRT would do it justice!

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. :) We went to another dealer after work last night to see an R/T and they had a BLACK one in the showroom. It was an automatic with every option, so not what I would want, but it was BEAUTIFUL in black!

I talked to the manager about ordering one, so we'll see. ;) IF I got one, it would be the base R/T in Black w/ 6-speed and uconnect/Sirius as the only options ... since we'd be doing LOTS of stuff to it here.

Here are some pics of the ones they had at Napleton on Northlake.

White...gotta go with a white one, if you don't go orange. But, only if it has an R & T somewhere.

Def go for the R/T in Black- the V-6 underpowers the Chally IMO.

With the 6 Speed the 5.7L is 376 HP and 410 TQ....only 10 TQ less than a factory 6.1...scary huh! Not to mention the gearing!

Wow, that's awesome! They really need to up the hp on the 6.1, or come out with a 6.4. BTW, black is the best color on the new Chally!!

Yeah for sure! I love my SRT, but for the extra dough the differneces between the 5.7 and 6.1 on the Chally are much smaller.
The seats on the 5.7 are very SRT like, the 6 speeds have a Full ESP off feature, and the suspension is supposedly the same or similar to the SRT on the 6 speed 5.7L
