I have finally gotten of my ass and ordered the Predator! :stars: I have a few questions that I thought may be able to be answered by some of you. First, I have a two PCM's. The stock factory PCM I use when I have to go in for service or warranty work. Normally though, I use another PCM that has the B&G Stage 2 flash. When I get the Predator, should I use the factory PCM or should I use the B&G Stage 2 PCM? With the advent of the Predator, is my B&G Stage 2 obsolete now? Second, I am stock except for having the PPP ported/polished intake and PPP ported/polished heads and a CAI. I have read over the months references to multiple, Predator provided canned tunes. I am guessing some newer canned tunes obsoleted other older canned tunes. Does anybody have any preferences or tunes they think I should skip to right away? Any suggestions would be welcome. I am sure I could muddle my way through it eventually and stumble upon the answers, just hopping I could appeal to my Connection brethren and try to cut right to the chase! Thanks!! :ilovesrtc:
1. Use the stock PCM, no point it using the B&G tuned PCM. May even be able to get a few bucks for it.... 2. The canned tunes will be close for you, but I would consider a custom tune with the ported heads and intake as they are increasing the airflow a bit. In the meantime, add about 5% to all the WOT fuel ranges and enjoy. Thanks Mike
Installed the Predator today and installed 93 octane CAI tune....I modified the fuel the additional 5% on all bands. Car ran good for about 30 mintues, then I got a code P0159 - O2 senser 2/2 slow to respond. Tried turning the car off and restarting but the code remains. Never had the code before. What should I try?
never had that code brad???? maybe the fuel addition???? although coming from mike, i would think that was fine. i say pm mike and see what he says. although, i would definately take a trip to see johan at diablo, or get a hold of dyno steve for some tuning. with your heads and intake it would be a good idea!!
Did you try clearing the code? If you did, and it comes back, you likely have an issue with the bank @ rear O2 sensor. Thanks Mike
