well it was last weekend and it rained all fri and half of sat. it was a good event and i think would of been bigger if it didn't rain so much. it was the last race of the season and the finals of the judged show cars for the Chrysler Classic. they advertize the world largest all mopar drag race and they maybe right they was a ton of racers, more then at the mopar nats. they had a match race with the Motown Missle and Sox & Martin Dusters. they had and NHRA legal Hemi superstock shootout. Goldberg was there and so was Diane Sox. in the car show the 3 class winners were a bad ass 72 cuda in modified, a 70 charger in stock, and in late modle truck it was me. so i should appear in mopar collectors guide in a couple months. i got pics will post later tonight.
VWB: Congrats man, that rocks! I wanted to go but the weather kept me away. Bigger than the Mopar Nats. I gotta go next year. Bring on the pics. Sam
well they had more racers than the mopar nats but the swap meet was pretty small and the fun field was pretty small, they had a manufactures midway but only a few stand opened. i think the weather had a lot to do with the small show and swap meet because some of the people i talked to said they had a good turn out last year. that show has good potential i think if they have good weather, in a few years it could rival the nats.
few more that yellow antana flag on my truck i got autographed by both Goldberg and Diade Sox. i bought a cool t-shirt they made for the match race looks like i gotta get a pic of that i also got a compiters t-shirt that has everyones name who quilified i gotta get a pic of that for i believe a few members names are on it as well.
