Not a bad start : 567whp@24psi with the auto

Took the shop car [previous 10.6 manual car] to the dyno with a complete new setup, for some preliminary tuning with the automatic trans. Fairly happy with the results. My calculations has this a hair over 700whp if we were using a manual[at only 24psi]. :eveilgrin

Still using a 3'' exhaust and stock sized charge pipes.

Obviously lower timing than we will run and the car will have 3'' IC pipes and a 4'' exhaust sometime in the near future.


Not sharing much info other than that at this time. Many of the Neon guys always beatch that I dont share dyno sheets and videos, so Im doing my best to get you some of each. No videos this time around, but I will have some next time. We will be heading back sometime next week to run 30-31psi if all goes well. Than we will run balls out the 3rd and hopefully last time to the dyno at around 48-50psi.

Keep in mind this is 1.01 SAE correction, so what you see....is what you get.

Must have to keep it high to make power, looks like nothing until almost 6500 rpms. wow...

 

Thats how we designed the setup. We will be reving it near 10k rpm when all said and done. With the gearing/tire size it will fall right into the sweet spot when shifting. It ''should'' be around 775-800whp through the auto from shift to shift. We shall see....

Car went 10.7@142 with a few passes under the belt. Need to make some changes to the torque converter to get it off the line.

142 traps are pretty good for 24-25psi. izza:

Once we get the 60 foots down with the new torque converter, we will start turning the boost up:friends:

 

24-25psi god damn! Are you planning to go after and/or beat the red sled times? I hope so, we need to get into the 8's

 

Well the goal is 8s but we have to get in the 9s first. :future:
