trans question

    what is the model trans on any 05-08 lx car for an 5.7 or a 6.1...trying to fiqure out if i could use a newer trans..i know about the engine management system for the newer stuff...

    Should be a W5A580(WK) or variant.

    thanks would it fit into a 2nd gen charger sinec you have one and you know what the newer one looks like..just wondering

    I'm not sure I've never seen a 727 next to the W5A580. I'm guessing the W5A580 is a little fatter. I think anything is possible w/modification.
