I am getting a P0633 code from my car. I know it has something to do with my Key not being programmed or something. Would this cause my car to make a rapid clicking sound? Also, if it is in fact this error. Do I HAVE to go to the dealership to reprogram it? If so, any idead how much I'm looking at? Thank you for your consideration.

    What car is this for?

Most all of us in the LX platform realm have the 633 code hidden somewhere. lol It has to do with the key fob programming but does nothing to our cars.

I bet the clicking noise is due to your HID's? Did this start happening after the install of the HID's?

Yeah. But I disconnected them when I heard the clicking. Any other ideas what happened?

Where are you located? Maybe we can hook you up with a Vendor or Member that could possibly assist?

is the car not starting when its making the clicking? the P0633 is usually a result of a staged comp, its not anything to worry about.

Yeah, the car isn't starting. When you say nothing to worry about? What exactly do you mean?

I think the P0633 is missing skim key code that you get with the staged computers. If so, that doesn't effect the cars running/driving. Definitely wouldn't cause a clicking sound.

That code is normal with the staged computers. It doesn't effect the cars running/driving. It's just some missing info that they can't/don't flash into the computer when it leaves Flight Systems. If you want it to go away, you can go to any dodge dealer and spend the $100 for them to spend 15 min or so flashing the info into the computer. But again it doesn't really need to be done, as it doesn't really effect the car.

So, it would cause the clicking sound but shouldn't cause my car not to start?

Nope. Car makes a rapid clicking sound, interior lights kinda flash and car does not start. Radio comes on. Interior, rear and dash light come on.

Maybe a bad fuel pump. I had a Suburban do that to me once. I tried to start it, nothing but a clicking sound. Replaced the fuel pump all was good.

It's crazy cuz everything was working fine until I installed the HIDs. I wanted to take a look at the starter, but I don't know where it is. :(

Not sure about the interior lights flashing bit...might try jump starting the car first. If the battery is going bad it is possible for it to still have enough charge that the lights and radio would work, but not enough juice to crank the starter motor.

That's right you posted another thread about fogs and a blown fuse. Maybe another fuse got blown. IDK if the starter of fuel pump is on a fuse, but you might check there too.

    good luck...
