The modern Hemi 6.1 heads have been extensively tested and developed by Joe Mondello and the proof is indisputable both at the dyno and at the track!!! On a Jeep.....with a stock cam these heads produced over 50hp at the wheels with a flat torque curve, with a factory tune! I have one (1) set of fully prepped, ported polished and flowed Stage2 heads. These heads retail for $2,699. In addition this particular set was cryogenically treated!! Mondello's Cheap!!! It appears the Stage 2 and 3 heads are gone or spoken for. I have one set of Stage 1 heads that I will sell for $1,950!! Compare that to any other head currently offered!!!! This Mondello technology with PAC Race Springs, the ONLY difference are the coatings and cryogenics. You wont get these prices, PERFORMANCE and quality any other time from any other vendor!!!!! Thanks! I want to Thank SRT-Bill for deciding to purchase a set of Mondello heads. He will be removing an "other" set of performance heads and we should have a great dyno comparison in the coming week or so. Keeps us posted on the before and "after" !!!!!!
Stage III SPP/Mondello heads. The removal of the other heads and new head install is scheduled to start on Monday September 22nd. Once installed the car will go on the dyno the same day. My current mods are: Ported heads and intake C&L jet hot coated CAI Kooks LT SLP Loudmouth II ATI Dampener PPP Track Warrior cam Zex LX nitrous kit I have quite a few other mods but these are the key performance ones. When all is done I will let you know the HP and TQ numbers. I have Webtv and no way to put up pictures so none of the "THIS POST IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS" icons please. My old numbers where as follows: HP- 429 TQ- 412 With a 100 shot: HP- 512 TQ- 515 So start putting up the popcorn icons cause we have almost 2 weeks before I post again. Bill
They are on! I finally got the SPP/Mondello stage III heads on. The heads and intake that were on the car are PPP Indy purchased in November of 06. I still have the Indy intake on which is in no way matched to these new heads. Once I get a new intake from Steve that is extrude honed and matched to his heads I am sure more power will be found. My old dyno runs are as follows: HP=429.1 TQ=412.3 NOS HP=512.6 NOS TQ=515.4 (I accidently put 555 in on my last post) New results with just the heads: HP=448.8 (19.7) TQ=428.3 (16.0) NOS HP=565.3 (52.7) NOS TQ=563.8 (48.4) The interesting part is that when everything was done we took off the OEM TB and put a 85-83-85 TB on. This took place in Florida at noon and was about a 15 minute job so their was no difference in air temps. Net results? Point 3, yes that is right a gain of .3 HP and .4 TQ. Not exactly the best mod for the money. As you can see, the heads made an improvement N/A and a big improvement on the bottle. I went for a ride and the first thing you notice is that over 3K you get stuffed back in your seat HARD. This is something even my wife noticed. Which is bad for me because I had her convinced that the car was down for 2 weeks just for a TB. So overall I am extremely happy with the heads. They make power and the car behaves almost like stock when just cruising. I will post again after I receive the Intake. Bill

Definitely one of the reasons PPP has not carried the Indy heads for over a year now. Congrats on the new dyno results.
