Other than the HP and Torque being fudged... lol No way in hell that car dyno'd 525rwhp and 600rwt with headers, catback, CAI, and a tune. lmao The only thing that makes the Bee a one of a kind is the fact that there is NOT two #5 of 1000 made. lol Where is the picture of the dash plaque showing it is build 5? Talked with Kevin. He is actual a pretty nice person and I wish him luck on the sale. Kevin will correct the Dyno numbers. The numbers listed are converted rwhp to flywheel...
You are on it Ron!!! I just hate when dealerships try to mislead people. Knowing my kuck I'd run into the dumbass that bought it and he'd shoot his mouth off on how much power it had. I don't buy any of those numbers, even at the crank.
With those mods and a good CMR tune, it is sitting right at 415ish rwhp. Their calculation is certainly off on the spreadsheet they used to convert to BHP.
there's a dealer here (Actually the slobs i bought my car from) that still lists the CSRT4 as a 300HP turbo on autotrader. This is despite the fact that I contacted them back in february/march about the mistake...the best part is that they offered me a job
Yeah...I've had to educate dealers on the fact that MDS is not a selling point of SRTs... As for the Bee..um...good luck with that...and I don't see how mud guards are a selling point on a collector item.
I get the "it comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty, you can't go wrong with that" line. 9 times out of 10 the salesman says I'll just step out of the way since you know more thatn I do obviously!! All I need to know is the bottom line price, is that so difficult??
I know that this car was at the Mopar Nationals last month. The guy had a classic Mopar there that he raced as well. That dealership name was real big all over the the side of their trailer. I am pretty sure that he raced this car in the Modern Hemi class as well. I don't think that he ran in any of the three days of time trials but, if it is the car I am thinking of, he did run in the racing. I think that I eliminated him (bracket racing so no big deal) in the first round. He ran a 13.836 @ 104.11 He must have added the power since then...er...or maybe it doesn't have anywhere near that power. I ran 12.518 @112.98 against him and the last time I dyno'd I only had 387 HP and 384 TQ.
