the srts dont have tuning like we do but then again he blew 35grand on it so anything is possable

Of course the TBSS guys kept confusing Brians Jeep with the guy who bragged about paying 35K for an N/A only 426 that does 10.9's.

I think the guy who made that comment is a crack head. lol

I'm not sure about this.. Seems like they are talking about two different Jeeps. That is my jeep in the video on post #17 though :grin:

I know one of the guy's (Ieatsrt8) we use the same powder coat guy.

 

They are talking about someone else, just confusing your Jeep to the other guy who thinks he runs 10.9 on an all motor Jeep.

bottom line is one of our own got caught talking shit and didnt back it up .. its only words out of the guys mouth and he exaggerated his numbers .. end of story

 

Im pretty sure I know who that is. He had a stage II with a turbo, blew the motor and now has a 426. It did pull the front end off the ground. I believe Josh said 2 of their 426 jeeps pulled the front off the ground. He also said that if I didn't care about the tranny and front diff that he would tune mine to do the same. Being that I am not that rich, I asked him to detune it in 1st and the 1-2 shift.
Maybe he meant that with all the work done there is 35G invested. But we all know noone has broke 10 sec mark YET. I think with more tuning parameters and good track conditions that it may be possible with an N/A 426...

 

I thought the only thing that could pull the front end was the supercharged 426 GCSRT8

 

when I was at that tbss site I got pissed at how many aftermarket hoods they have to choose from. Why can't somebody make a hood for us GCSRT8 guys...

I think Josh had a video of it. No know if its still up on his site. I believe the fellow in Austin running the 426 from HHP has lifted his front end up as well. But like I said with that tune, they are eating up trannies and front diffs...
