I got a 2008 Viper and I am not sure if there is something wrong or if I am doing something wrong. When you unlock the car with the clicker get in and try to start it it will not start unless I click the unlock again once the key is in the ignition, Is the right?
You should not have to press the unlock button a second time. Get in, put the key in. place it in the on position, push start button. If it is doing what you are describing, take it back to the dealer and have them fix this.
yeah, thats what i thought. even the putting the key in the ignition and turning is antiquated and not needed in this day and age.
It has less than 70 miles on it and I hatee to take it back already but I guess I will have to. I just ran to the store and now the check engine lite is on. It came on this morning in me Charger aswell.
Maybe it's YOU :bye: JK, that sucks that its giving you problems already, let us know what the problem is when it gets fixed! Also, then you can give us some pics of it!!!!
I tried to take some pictures but I can't get the camera to take any. I can't even remember how I got this one up I am not very good at those things. You will have to wait I can't afford a camera anymore.
In the Viper? Apparently it only start when it knows you're driving for a good cause. Seriously though, put the key in, push the button. It's that easy...er should be.
There is your problem....you should have went to the package store for some JD....Vipers dont run well on Bud....:magic:
no, beer goes in the gut, jd goes in with the oil.....lightens the load, gain about 70 rpm... :stars:
haha, no doubt. the guy sounds like my mom and her aversion to anything electrical. i still get calls about setting up tivo to record her shows....
Sounds like something's up with the car's immobilization (security) system. Take it to the dealer for sure. It might just need a PCM re-flash, or a new key/key-fob. Welcome to the "C"!
