This reminds me. When I first got the INVOs Discount had pumped up the pressure to about 39 psi. My first trip that day was on the highway to Tucson. I noticed how the tires felt squirly that whole day. The next day I lowered the pressures to DCX recommendations and it was a world of difference. Seems they are sensitive to overinflation.

Yep, I'm going to do a proper cold tire inflation in the morning. I'll try em for a while at 33 psi. The odd part is my V's responded great at pressures around 36-38 psi. For the price though....you just can't beat the V's.

Milan, how many miles did you get out of yours? And how did they wear out? Outer edge, middle, what? I only have 5500 miles on mine so far and they're not showing hardly any wear at all. And I think they stick great and are very quiet on the hwy, I still don't get why everyone is down on them?!?!

Hahahhaa, I think it might have something to do with that sig pic of yours, lol! (which btw is one of my fav pix of all time, you should have entered that in the photo contest, you would have got my vote!!)

Ok Rick, so no change in handling going lower or higher then huh? What about ride quality, did you notice a difference?? (sorry, off subject a little here) Remember I said that was one thing I was thinking might be the reason I feel the Mopars are rough riding, because I'm so low. Chris said if I raised it up some the ride should get better but I'm only down 1 1/2 inches front/1 inch rear and that's not that much so I don't know, what do you think?

One of my favorites too. Luckily it's of my car.

I know when I had too much air in mine, I was like I was riding on the crest of the tire and when I would wiggle the steering wheel or change lanes on the freeway, it would feel very sloppy. They were a different animal with correct pressures.

The F1's are great tires, they wear out too fast, come in the wrong sizes, and are overpriced. The toyo's are decent for the price, too hard for my liking though. The nittos are too boy racer for me, I know the 'V's look kind of odd but i've actually received compliments on the tread pattern. On a smooth hard launch you can hear them squeling, people can't help but notice the car might be putting down some serious power. I take some of the local twisties at considerably higher speeds now and always feel sure footed with my 'V's. Part of that is due to the KWV2's and Hotchkis Sways I suppose. The way I drive I find it very convenient to have the same size all the way around on my car, the stock set up was nice but a pain in the ass to rotate. I've done some wicked burn outs on mine and they are still plenty meaty. God Bless and Good Night to ALL.

I found my F1's (rears) lasted about 9000 miles and wore evenly on the rears. In the front, outer edges were wearing first....

Your impressions might coincide with the only negatives I've heard about the Innvos. That they're a bit soft in the sidewall/shoulder and so a bit slow on turn-in. Most of the people making that observation qualified it with "at higher speeds". Some also thought they were stickier off the line than the Vreds which might make sense ith the above (although I think that would mostly have to do with composition).

NO change in ride quality. I drove Jason's car with KWv1's and it rode REALLY smooth. It's got to be the spring rates and damping settings of the Mopars. I'd like to ride in a car with the Mopars to compare.

I think you are dead on! I love it when I here guys making comments that they wouldn't put an SUV tire on their cars. Even though the tires in question (V's) are for SUV's weighing no more than 4900 lbs. I knew we keep you around for a reason Dave! :huglove:

By the way, my car IS a SUV. That's why I didn't pay a gas guzzler tax when I bought it and that's why my insurance is dirt cheap (relatively speaking). :dancing:

My dumb luck, figures. Welp, some other time then buddy.

Dave's right (is he ever not, lol), they consider the Magnum a "truck/suv". No gas guzzler tax and cheaper insurance are a plus, along with having the coolest SRT8 there is!

FWIW I have 15K miles on my Vreds 275s and have about 50% tread left. My F-1s were shot at 11K. My Vreds have outperformed the F-1s in all aspects EXCEPT for a dead stop launch. (which didn't last long as they looked and hooked up bad at 9K and toasted shortly after.
Until someone can show me a better tire, I'm sticking with Vred's!!
