It's started....delivery is 5 months away and the price screwing is in full gear... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodg...004QQitemZ140189513414QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
the guys at the dealership that i got my car at expect $90,000 for their first challenger...apparently they have 2 guys bidding against each ohter
Ya, it'll settle down after a while though. I expect the same thing to happen for the Camaro and the Nissan GT-R. THe Shelby still gets some crazy pricing though. (An aside: Why - do you have boobs Stevo?)
That's true I guess. Just a pity that enthusiasts that don't have a fortune to throw away are going to have to wait a year+ for pricing to settle down.
if i had boobs like that i'd never be online again...hahahahahhaha yeah...well rich guys need to have their toys...
larry - i am telling myself not to get to shocked to see some outlandish prices for these cars!!!! funny thing, all depends on where you are!! one of my club members just got his ordered and has april for his scheduled delivery. he said he paid "a little" over sticker.
hahaha...i have a little bit of a boob obsession...some of my female friends can tell you in detail how crazy i am hahahaha and it depends on who you are...how bad you want a challenger...and how much money you have...and how smart you are haha...that will judge what you pay
It's going to be a feeding frenzy to begin with....specially since the 08 is limited.....same happen with the Shelbys...local Ford dealer got $20K over sticker for the first one...noticed last Sunday he was running the Shelby for $3K under sticker.............I plan on a Challenger myself...but I plan on buying one of the "super discounted garage kept never in the rain with 50 coates of Zaino and only 3,500 miles" used models that will be available in 2-3 years...
yeppers larry, by the time the wife allows me to get another car, that will likely be the same scenario i will be looking at!!! hahahahahaha
My wife supprised me the other day at my dealer....somebody made a comment about trading and Teresa said "yes, I know whats coming next...a Challenger".....I was shocked because I didnt know she even knew what a "Challenger" was as far as cars go...
I'm right there with you on that one, as great as the mighty C is, I sure did learn my lesson about buying a new car. Eric
Ditto! I rushed to buy my Magnum"not that theres anything wrong with it" and two or three months later the SRT version came out, and Magnum prices started to drop, I learned a lesson of patience.
I work with a guy that payed 80+ (each) for (2) GT500 Mustangs 18 months ago. The NEWER ones than his are now in the mid 50s! Paying large for vehicles is a crap shoot.
