I will caveat this by saying "however". The V's are a true summer tire. When the temps drop below around 50* (from what I remember) these things become ice skates....FUN....but ice skates. The guys who are running them in places where it rains a lot are saying they are INCREDIBLE in the rain.

I just gave Shawn a call and he's going to call for me in the morning. I "might" be forced to put some Toyo Proxes or something else on the car if everyone is out of stock. Has anyone bought any in the past week or so?

"Break them in"??? I always thought it was time to buy new tires after the old ones were broken in.

Yes, it was Ryan's hook-up that got them in. I think Ryan was keeping it a secret and when they all found out about it from a 3rd party they all got in on Ryan's hook-up

Yep...14k miles. The fronts still have some tread on them but I did a few too many burnouts after this last rotation and the rears have NO tread on them. If anyone knows where to get some V's let me know. I've already tried AFS Wheels and Fairmont Rubber and Tire Co. It seems as if everyone is waiting on a shipment that will take a month. If I can find some Toyo Proxes 4's or Nitto Invo's similarly priced I'll get them. I've got a 3k+ road trip in two weeks and don't want to do it on bald tires...especially with the family!

GET the Invo's. We need a couple more evaluations on those. Especially a direct comparison to the Vreds.

No one has Vredesteins. I just ordered a set of INVO's 275/40/20's, 245/45/20's for $1050 (if there is a shipping charge/lower if not) installed from a recommendation by another member.
