The Devil Struck Again We shredded a Gilmer drive belt on the last Pull But we got the car really close and it was making Awesome Power Numbers. This car was making 454 Horse and 490 Ftlbs @ 4000 rpm with a 8.8 AFR

Well the belt will be put on this week and will back at the dyno friday so everybody cross your fingers for me and hope for the best thanks for all your support

I think the belt was either Defective (there was no contact anywhere on it), Or because we are pushing so much boost we need a Bigger blow-off valve (something Lance at Pro-Charger had mentioned but said until it's together and making boost we would not know) So I am ordering 3 belts and we will see if it lets go again (I doubt it will) I know PH is really excited about this car and the look on his face during the first pull was priceless.

 

I felt numb all over!!!!!!!! and friday bringing new underwear to the dyno.Hope they have a bathroom I could change in!!!!!!!!!

 

I am interested in the larger BOV theory... Not sure if I really need one, but ya never know.

Who is "Numb" and why are you feeling her/him? lmao I kill myself sometimes.

 

Actually I spoke with Lance at Pro-Charger Today at length about it and he says we should be good on the BOV. He says the valve on there now supports 15 PSI so it was a defective belt. He's sending out 2 belts and we will keep our fingers crossed that the Devil stays asleep Friday.

Hmm, I wonder what my BOV is good to (PSI wise)? It's the raptor BOV.

 

are you kidding the devil never sleeps.I heard weird sounds from my garage for the past two nights.I even thought I heard the car start up on its own a couple of times,Just like in the movie by stephen king (Christine) the devil
