No Challenger convertible after all.. saw this on the LXF. why would someone do this? won't the FACTORY convertible be out in a year? I hope its for SEMA.
i'd hope it was something for SEMA, or some type of show car, cuz thats just retarded IMO. why not wait and have a OEM vert challenger?!?! at least they coulda cut it further down on the back and made it a hard top vert.. if they make it just a regular vert, kinda defeats the purpose of having one of the first editions since they are hacking it up.
Why because West Coast customs does this. Yes, the Vert Challenger is proposed to be out for the 2010 year.. And I am with Bryan (MatFab), if I could, I would.
lol No argument here. I was just answering your question. lol WCC also came out with the Convertable Charger/300 kit.
I'm not a big fan of convertibles that aren't purpose-built in the first place. Cars that are designed from the ground up as convertibles are fine (and often stunning); muscle cars should never have a convertible option - two entirely different things. IMHO.
Weight Reduction Now that they have reduced the overall weight and lowered the center of gravity, I think they should remove the windshield and A pillar, make a tonneau cover for the passenger comparment, put a small chrome roll bar behind the driver only (like a Cobra) and give the driver an open faced helmet and some old school racing goggles. Now that would be a race car, and more aerodynamic too!
