Guys this is the premier Big car drag racing event of the year..... Be sure to be at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA November 8, 2008.... Georgia Super Sport Impala Race team/Club or "GASSIT" has been putting this on for the past 7 years. This year our gang from the Atlanta Marauder community is joining forces with them to put it together for the 8th year in a row. The past 2 years have seen some pretty impressive MOPAR representation, so we hope that will continue. Keep in mind that November is great horsepower making weather down here in the ATL, and you never know what you will line up against. AMG's, GTO's, CTS-V's, STS V's some awesomely fast Lincolns the list goes on and.................. What you will not see is any FWD cars. This is strictly 4000+lbs with Driver. There will be brackets, so no worries about competition. You will not be dissapointed if you wanna go fast One last thing....Make a weekend of it and come for the test~n~tune the night of November 7th.... I have already registered but things are not looking good work wise.... as it looks like I will be tied up. Anybody know if the registration transferable since you had to prepay ?
uJokin- I don't know what the cutoff date is... If there is one for refunds, but I would not wait till the last minute to try for it....... PM me your contact info. ASAP if you know now that you cannot go. No guarantee's but I will investigate for you. Everyone else who wants to come watch is more than welcome. I forget what the spectator charge is, but it is well worth it given the action on the track. Please come!!! There will be a cars show as well, so come polished up:future:
Update guys! Looks like about 25 cars covering most of big~n~fast 4door segment are preregistered. Thats great news!. The bad news is, as we move from summer to fall, the remaining available slots will go quick!!! So if ya have not done so already, go to the sshs8 website and preregister your Mopar Missile. Be sure to make hotel reservations too if comming for the weekend. Rooms will be in short supply too. Hope to see you in Commerce Nov. 8th.
