    Thanks for the response!

I think I got it figured out. Gave HHP a call and he explained it as this. The different modes work for some cars, and not for others.

I am getting these mode options from both the autostick shift firmness selection. They told me to try mode 1 on both first, and if it didn't work to go to mode two, and three if two doesn't work.

I was told to keep both selections in the same mode as they relate to the same pcm's(?) if that makes since.

It's just a matter of trial and error. Just go through till one works and the same mode will be used for the other.

If you have a SRT8 the firmness selections do not apply. The SRT8s come with shift firmness set all the way firm. haven't heard about keeping them synced with the auto stick selection. I don't think you need to worry about the firmness selection.

So you're sure it has no effect even if I engage it? The guy at HHP seemed to think it did.

He just mentioned that if mode 1 worked for the autostick, that mode 1 would be the one to use with the firmness also. Same with mode 2 and 3.

For some reason I don't even see the firmness option anymore, but whatever.

With autostick option on, is the slight firm downshift from 2nd to 1st normal?

Thought I read it on another forum that it was, but might be mistaken.

I think you mean the 3rd to 2nd downshift when you are slowing down.....correct?
Mine suffers from it also, and I thought it was 2nd to 1st but that is real late..like >5mph as you are braking.

If you downshift before it does it doesn't clunk.

    That cures the issue.
I gues you ARE in "manual" so the tranny shifts when it has to, not when it should.
