Yeah Ford has this new thing called EcoBoost looks like a Mazda6 http://www.worldcarfans.com/9080715.007/2010-ford-taurus-spied
:hmm: interesting.........interesting........ with Hyunda's and Taurus's turning into monsters....i guess i dont have a choice but to get a big old power adder hahahaha
well considering ford and mazda have links if i remember correctly (i could be wrong though), this would not surprise me.....that and the "look" of the mazda6 is a bit generic.....
Ford owns 33.9% (ownership & controlling interest, unconsolidated) of Mazda. They've shared platforms for years; currently: Ford Ranger - Mazda B2300 Ford Escape - Mazda Tribute Ford Focus (Euro), Volvo S40 - Mazda 3 Ford Fusion - Mazda 6 Ford Edge - Mazda CX-9 (Not exact replicas of each other, but the same underpinnings/chassis design for the most part) Ford *should* have brought the Falcon out of Australia to the states. The 4.0L turbocharged engine can be made to have 1k hp easy (with more usable torque than any Toyota Supra can boast), and the 5.4L variant of the Falcon would make a wonderful SVT competitor to the SRT8 line up. What would it mean - competition. Meaning better cars for all of us. Here's hoping the Taurus does well and takes the "top spot" back from the Toyota Camry.
Yeah whats up with Austraila and all these go fast cars they are getting isn't the Pontiac G8 an Aussie car
the GTO was orgiinally an Aussie car, from Holden, but dont remember the name. but yeah they need to bring the Falcon over here. expecially the classics so i can change out alot of my useless mudstain parts for the Falcon stuff.
