dammm we had some crazy weather this weekend

the wife and i went up to Sterling CO for her family reunion and all it did was rain.
we had a blast spend friday and sat drinking

but on our way home as soon as we left Denver
Non stop rain all the way to Raton we spent a good part of the highway hydroplaining

what was even crazier is inbetween Las Vegas, NM and Santa Fe in a matter of a few seconds it went from sprinkle to rain, to heavy rain, to marble size hail, to what looked like snow. about all with in a mile

so many cars were pulled off or slided off the highway.
there were a few accidents just within that short time.
i was just suprised that the hail didnt break my winshield or dent the rest of the car.

we continued on following behind another truck going about 10-15mph then my front bumper then became a snow plow. snow/hail was coming over the bumper and on to the hood we continued on for about 3 mi then the sun came out and the roads were dry.
    thats NM weather for ya'.

the sun lasted for about 20mins then we got to Santa fe and it continued to poor again.

the rain finally stopped just a few miles out side of Santa Fe and we had sun the rest of the way home....

untill someone droped a lot of crap in the middle of the road but thats another story....

Sounds fun...it rained here this week-end, also...

And by here I mean in the building that our lockshop is in here on campus. Turns out someone up on the second floor of the building didn't like the location of one of the urinals up there, so the kicked it off of the wall. 1 1/4" waterline open for a few hours = no ceiling left on the 1st floor, or basement. Along with the ruined floors on the 2nd, 1st and basements and all computers and office furniture between here and there = :rip:

Yup. Not only did we get rain, hail, sleet, flash floods, and tornado warnings, the temp dropped from the 90's to the mid 60's. haha WTF?

Guess it's that "Global Warming" thing Gore has been talking about? bwahahahaha
