For all you Challenger guys, I will be at Haddad Motorsports doing the first complete TrackII install on a new Challenger on Aug 7-8. I will be there 2 days prior getting a new Pontiac G8 ready for testing by Motor Trend next month.

If any of you are interested in seeing the vehicle and install, swing on by. Here is the address:
    Haddad MotorSports
    423 E. Florence #14
    Inglewood Ca 90301

    310) 412-8032

This Challenger will be featured at Sema this year. So it will definately be a cool ride to look at, and drive.

    See you all there.

    thanks

We have the challenger in the air and will be starting Tomorrow. There are 2 enhancemements over a SRT8 that I can see so far. you will have to come tomorrow night to see the differences.

We will have a get together ThursdaY, TOMORROW, so all can see it.

We will have some pizza for all. Some come on down.

We have also started on a new Dodge Challenger SRT8. Pretty cool ride. We will be replacing 42 bushings, shocks, springs, struts, and custom sway bars. Come on down and see what the other side looks like. this Challenger dynoed at 385 HP/torq.

    See you all tomorrow night

I have done some extensive review of all the bushes and the components. It does appear that Chrysler has made 3 changes that I can find:
    1. Front Upper control arm bushings have seriously increased dura
    2. the rear shocks have gone from Nivomats to Bilsteins
    3. The rear trailing arm has been updated from a pot metal unit to a very well built tubular steel unit. But the bush is still really soft!

Now Trojans Challenger has only 400-500 miles on it. But I would assume the miles have not been "without play". With that said, there is still, with respect to handling and control, a very serious deficit in bushing movement and quality. His right front xmember bush is already showing cracking and fatiguing as well as the front radius rod bushes.

I have made a pictorial on the Challenge Track II install . You can see it at:

    http://rides.webshots.com/album/565160349SHPjth

We are done with the front end, and have the back end all stripped down, with the rear xmember bushes out and the rear lower control arm bushes out. What is left is replacing all the bushes in the back links. So check out the web site above and see what and how we have done
Spo buddy, you want pictures. I's show you your stinkin pictures! LOL. By the time I am done, we will have about 125 to 150 photos documenting the total install of the 42 or so bushes.
Special note: Ads of now, there are about 120 photos and there will be about 40 more to complete the entire install documentation!
    enjoy!

    thanks
