I posted this over on LXForums so I figured Id post it here as well. Not trying to offend anyone but Id like to keep this to the LX's and Jeeps. Mainly because I can only have 20 cars at the rental so its just easier that way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just a feeler at this point but Im pretty certain Im going to set this up. I plan on setting up a track rental at ATCO raceway, NJ. Date is yet to be determined but most likely late Oct or early Nov and from what Ive seen, it will be a weekday. My goal is to invite the top 20/25 LX/Jeep cars ET wise and go down the list as people turn down the invitation. Imagine 20 11.50 LX/Jeeps running together at a fast track in below sea level air The price is $200 per car and you usually get about 30 runs in and its easy to get more than that. ATCO has a speed shop on site so nitrous refills is not a problem. Towards the end of the day, we can try to do an eliminator and have a king of the hill. We would have to do the leg work on that but shouldnt be too hard with only 20 cars. Without actually listing the names, you guys know who you are. Vendors cars are welcome. I am officially calling you guys out Chime in boys and help me figure out the jeeps. I have no idea who runs what on that front. For those of you from last years ETown rental, this is not the same event. Our rental is still on and Ill keep you informed on that rental as well.
There are a few names not in the top 20 on our database that Id like to formally invite. Giglamesh Sting Ya Trojan Inferal UDLUUZ lafrad I know its not realistic to think all or most of the top 20 cars can make it so this will be some of the guys Id like to see run. Ill add to this as I think of them.
Ive gotten a few responses already, so this is a possibility. I really only need 10 cars for the rental to be doable and 20 being the max. If I get 10 out of the top 20/25 fastest LX/Jeeps to commit, Ill do it. Then Ill open the last 10 spots to first come first serve I really would love to have 20 cars that are capable of running 11.50. I figure that will make for some fun racing.

Welp this turned into an excellent event ! Lost of personal best were laid down. My little old 5.7 NA managed a 12.12 and few 12.16's 12.18 and a rack of low 12.2's several 1.6x 60's So wankers think about it over the winter and make sure you sign up for the one in the spring! -Robert
Great freaking weekend of racing Dan! Atco Track prep was OUTSTANDING. First weekend with the new converter and had 1.74, 1.76, 1.77, 1.79 60's all day. Was a real treat to get this 5.7 Cam only car down the track with a new best 12.63 ET. Spring - you better count me in again dude!
Yep, had a blast. Not everyday you can lay down five 10 second passes and just as many 1.5x 60 foot's. See you boys in March
