Thank you all so much. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have such a great bunch to be able to turn to.

Ron, Ryan. A special thanks to you for being such great friends.

Here is my reason: My son Alex, my daughters Jasmine (Oldest Girl), Alyssa, & my baby girl Honey (4 month old Beagle) Just look at that face and those ears !!!

luis - it is my family that motivates me..... it is my family that motivates me to be better as a father, husband, friend, and man....... it is seeing my kids smile when they do something for the first time on their own, whether it is my two year old going to the bathroom on his own, or my 13 year old turning a wrench on my car with me for the first time......

i deal with negitivity by knowing that all things happen for a reason. my parents always told me the good lord will only give you what you can handle........ everything else will work itself out.... another way i deal with things negitive, especially people, is that everyone gets theirs in the end....good or bad, everyone gets theirs......

Agree with Chris. I find there are a handful of negative people at my workplace and they're just miserable SOB's. Nothing could make them happy but more money....at least in their own minds. They come in to work miserable and complaining about almost everything and some actually get off on seeing others fail for any reason...whether it's a divorce, a reprimand at work, a car accident...It's actually kind of sick. I usually just say, "Hi, how's it going" and leave it at that lol. Constant negativity wears on me quick and I'd rather just be considered anti-social than chit-chat with them.

For Me.... It's Ron and my daughter. Although, my daughter, being 22 now, doesn't have as much time for me... doesn't make her any less important in my life!

Honestly, with as much a I love having my truck, it is not that high on the list of what means the most to me! Comes in pretty close though!!! :bigwink:

I don't really care what other people think of me. Just as long as I know that Ron loves me, that's all that matters!!!

What keeps me going............2 children, parents and the Jeep and the Connection. All of those (in that order) give me something to look forward to each day.
I do know when I was in college and flat busted broke with no money or GF, I really started feeling down, then I had a class where I was required to work with physically and mentally handicapped adults (either by birth or accident) and boy did that class change my freaking attitude about life! Makes you appreciate being able to tie your own shoes and get yourself dressed.

Anytime I start to feel sorry for myself, I always think back to those people I worked with and think of all the things that I got to enjoy in life the past 20 years that they did not..................very humbling.

On the lighter side, I forgot to mention being alone with some good internet porn is also a thing I look forward to daily that keeps me going!....LOL.

When I was five I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. This was back in 1982, so medicine wasn't nearly as advanced as it is now. My prognosis was that I probably wouldn't have a long, normal life and that I'd probably be sick alot, that having kids was a near impossibility and that I'd have a lot to deal with when it came to shots, testing and complications. So here I am, 26 and a half years later, married, with a baby, going to college a second time. I've driven at laguna seca, sears point and Willow Springs, in a V8 Hemi no less, with plans to continue road course driving as soon as I get "permission". So what keeps me going? Well, I would say my loved ones, but honestly, a lot of its all those doctors and people who said I couldn't, wouldn't make it this far and all the people who give me the pity party treatment when they find out I'm diabetic. Given my daughter's premature entry into this world and her insane progress toward "normalcy", I'd say I passed that drive along. Hell, her pediatrician says not only does she not seem preemie, she's pretty damned advanced for her age. :baby:

I'm down with your coolness, T, and agree, kids are simply the best (though without Kathleen's help I might feel differently, lol).
And as far as I know you're the only female genXer I know that loves to road race too!

For me, it's my family, my job, and knowing that every morning I get up to go to work, I get to drive my 300 c SRT. I love it.

Life is worth living, definitely!!! It can be a real bitch sometimes, but it is worth the trouble.

Family, friends, fun, and a belief in something bigger and better than humanity are my ingredients (plus some cool expensive toys here and there)...
