has anyone actually driven the dinan chipped 335? it sure as hell doesnt feel that fast. i chirped around the neighborhood in one, but never clocked the 1/4. it feels quite a bit slower in comparison to the cammed 5.7. even the owner (a fellow uc grad) was talking about getting a charger or challenger. he was disappointed in the car stating it didnt have the muscle feel (i let him drive mine).

    M5's

A few weeks ago at Irwindale I pulled in the staging lanes behind a newer Black M5. At some point the driver wandered off and left his car parked. Then the lane director came over and moved the cone to advance our lane. This guys nowhere around (wtf). So I'm trying to see if I can squeze past him between the lanes (real tight) and he shows up. "Let's go" I said. "My friend has my keys" he replied. I was dumbfounded. Then his friend shows up (he has a newer white M5) and gets cocky with me "Oh you think your car's so fast, why don't you race my friend then?". Okay. So we get closer to the front and I asked him if he wanted to race for $20. Nope. How about $10? Nope. How about $5, how about $1? Nope, just shits & giggles he replied. I treed him off the line and cut a quicker ET. So his friend (still cocky) says "Okay, you beat him, now you race me". "Okay" I replied. Different M5, same result. I treed him and beat him had a 1/10 better ET (in the 1/8th mile). Now both of them go quiet. (not so cocky anymore).

BTW: My 2006 300CSRT-8 had 97,000+ miles on her with only GSM Bolt-On's and a CMR Tune from Scott at GSM. Not bad for a "Sedan"!!!
