How do you reset the TPM sensors?

    I put the 2008 oem Srt wheels on my charger but can't seem to get then to sync up. Any tips??

    Wonder if the 08 sensors are different than the 06's?

    Should be able to do this one of two ways...

    1) Fill tires past 45 psi, then bring back down to desired psi.

    or

    2) Driving around for about 10+ miles should clear them.

    Did you drive over 10 mph for a bit? It's automatic. There is no "syncing". Doesn't matter if you changed sensors or moved them to a different corner or anything. If it's not seeing them or their location then look to the location senders that are in 3 of the wheel wells (I think maybe it's the LR that doesn't have one). Did you mess with those?

    Jacking up the pressure and back down is to clear the low pressure warning.

    Here is a little blurb on the sensors.

    The wheel sensors transmit to the Wireless Control Module (WCM), (commonly referred to as the Sentry Key
    Remote Entry Module (SKREEM)) approximately once every minute at speeds over 15 mph.
    Once the wheels stop rotating for approximately 20 minutes, the sensors go into "park" mode and transmit approximately once every 13 hours. The sensors will also transmit in park mode when a pressure change of one psi or more is detected.
    Transponders located in the LF, RF, and RR wheel wells provide the WCM with the location of the tire sensors. Each sensor transmits it's unique ID with the pressure. The location transponder gives it's location and the ID of the near sensor. If the WCM knows the location of three of the sensors the fourth is assumed to be the LR.
    Our placard pressure is 32 lbs. Our sensor thresholds are:
    Low Pressure ON Threshold 25 psi.
    Low Pressure OFF Threshold 29 psi.
    So if you get down to or below 25 psi you will get a low pressure warning.
    The low pressure warning won't be cleared until you get up to or above 29 psi.
    The sensor battery is not replaceable and is expected to last about 10 years.

    Yea, but it also works on rotating tires, or adding a new sensor. hehe Been there done that.

    cruising at 10 mph... Dahahahaha! I think one of the valve stems are damaged, would that cause a problem?

    Well... yes, that will work. The idea is to get them to transmit. When they're dormant they will transmit once about every 13 hours OR when the pressure changes by more than 1 psi. So changing the pressure would trigger a transmit. Rolling them at 10-15mph for about a minute will wake them up too (and they'll transmit about once a minute when active).








    (if the sensors have been covered in goo they might be less sensitive and require a large pressure change to trigger... :whistle:)
