Who is going??? Would be very cool if we can all meet up somewhere before heading into the Nationals, then we would be able to park together as well.

National Trail Raceway is about 20 miles east of Columbus Ohio on old US Highway 40, one mile north of Interstate I-70 at the Kirkersville exit.

  *We are meeting at Hooter's on E.Main at 5:30-6pm (or earlier)
  
  
• Mopar Super Cruise, Saturday, 8/9 - 7pm-11pm
  On Saturday night August 9th, Mopar Nationals in conjunction with the town of Heath will feature a Cruise night for the participants in downtown area. Hundreds of unique Chrysler Corporation cars (Dodge, Plymouth, AMC) will ascend on Heath to cruise S.R. 79 between 30th St and Hopewell Road. Every imaginable type of car will be represented including hot rods, antiques, customs, muscle cars, and trucks
  *We are meeting at BW3's in Heath at 5-5:30pm (or earlier)
  
  
• Suggested Packing List
  • Digital Camera/Video Camera
  • Spare Batteries/Memory Cards/Charger/Cable to unload pictures
  • Car wash/detail supplies: Quick Detail Spray, Windshield Cleaner, Towels, etc.
  • Proof of insurance, auto registration

Yeah, tried to do that last year and again this year but too many procrastinators. :doh:

I pre-register every year and waited as long as I could. Last year we all drove in as a group though and had a nice spot with plenty of shade.

Since the implosion of the VTCOA, there's no organized SRT-10 section at Mopar Nats this year.
I've been invited to join the VCA this year in the "Viper Pit", but I don't think I will attend during the day.

I've heard from a lot of SRT-10 owners that are doing the cruises though- Brice Rd. on Friday night and Heath on Saturday.
Hooters sounds like a good meet spot for Friday, but fair warning- it will be PACKED!
There's a Midas (Jiffy Lube?) on the East side of the main road in Heath, Hebron Rd. That was a GREAT place we found last year. It's in the middle of the cruise, with easy in and out and parking for about 10-15 vehicles.

I think we're gonna try to get to each cruise a little early, eat some din-din, then enthrall the tens of thousands of Mopar fans that line the streets each night! :grin:

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be the second big event I have to miss in Ohio!!! Why the hell do they have it in the middle of the summer. September would have been beautiful and cooler. Sorry, I'm just jealous and a little ticked right now or I would have met up with you guys.

 

My brother and I both will be there. I will have my blue srt-4 and he will have his white srt-4 ACR, both stage 3 cars. We just plan on running the trophy bracket race so we dont have to stay late on Sunday.

Turbobuckeye- there's a MUCH better (read: less crowded) spot to meet in Heath on Saturday night.
There's a Jiffy Lube on the East side of Rt. 79 aka: Hebron Rd. It's got a nice-sized parking lot, and it's off the beaten path regarding the cruise area. It's also easy to get in and out of.

 

Yep, that was my brother last year in the white ACR, I ran my Dakota last year since its a former winner, but will bring the SRT this year.

 

Just got off the phone with Tom B. (aka WAZZSUP).
He and a buddy (blown 426 in an SRT-8) are going to be meeting us at the Jiffy Lube in Heath on Sat. night around 7PM.
Oh, and yes- he's bringing that badass red sled of his!

Sounds good to me. I'm flexible on meeting location for the cruise.

I remember that car, very impressive. I would have gotten a pic of it but my battery died on my camera. Guess I will definitely be able to get a pic this year. :grin:
