Emailed Kenne Bell to see if they are developing a kit for us, this is what I got back:

    Snehal,

We have no plans to make anything other than our new kit for the 6.1L HEMI Challenger. We will engineer it specifically for the Challenger only and won't guarantee it will work with any other vehicle with the same motor. Its very possible that other kits may follow it for different applications but we can not guarantee that at this time.

I was wondering if we would have clearance issues with the hood. Now that Udluuz car is making over 800rwhp with dynosteve's tuning, I wanna wait and see what the best option is.

Good idea. Make a supercharger for the lowest production LX only.

i was thinking the same thing about the hood....if its more than like an inch higher than the intake manifold its gonna be a problem....what i would LOVE to do is find someone who could just take my hood now....and modify it with a slight 1.5" cowl or something....that would be awesome

I beleive Stillen might be doing a cowl induction hood for us. But if you want custom, TommyZ will do it for you, but might be a lil expensive.

If there is enough demand..commited dommand, we could get one of thevendors we deal with to produce them.

The Jeep gets the shaft again. The difference between the WK & the LX under hood: shock/strut tower brace, tuning, general clearance/battery/etc, & ???

being that its a Twin Screw S/C would there be any huge difference other than routing of the tubing for the intake?

Thats kinda why i think that once they get the challenger one set up it might take a little fabbing but you could get it to work with any 6.1

or would i be off on that one?

Yeah, I'm wondering if the shock tower brace would be in the way. There is always a way to make a new custom brace to go around the s/c. IMO.

ah crap i forgot the jeeps had those :hmm:....I guess it will really depend on how much of a height difference there is between the height of the normal intake and the height of the SC.

How much room is there between the intake and the STB in the jeeps normally?

I went thru this with the Mr.Norm truck that was supposed to have the Kenne Belle setup but could never get tuned and believe he backed out do to tuning as he did not want his name attached to something that would not run right so I dont blame him from shying away from the Hemi. I believe maybe he is getting some help from DC on tuning the Challenger???

I've never measured, but maybe ~2". I think RDP's s/c for the Jeep isn't twin screw either. Here's a pic from their site.

Looks like a BES/HHP sheet metal intake manifold, with a centrifugal supercharger....
