There's some scattered showers which I hope are gone by 2:30. That way the track doesn't pull some excuse out their ass and not given enough time to prep. It was sunny as ever over here in St. Pete then (2) sun showers passed through and now its back to being sunny. December and its raining go figure. I think were good
i don't understand why everyone is so scared of the rain.... like nobody has ever driven in rain or stood in rain before???? I know someone said something before, but if it does rain you get a rain check. so you don't waste any money. It's just fun for everyone to get together, so everyone should come!!
it was a nice night with no rain. sorry dan i didn't play on the way home, frank said it was our exit. but maybe next time we will be able to play for fun.
Well no luck getting a tire today. I even check threads to see if anyone was selling atleast 2 srt-4 rims with tires but no luck. Cheryl is going to see about tomorrow through her job. I'll have the wheel back to you and Frank either sometime during the week or definately Saturday. Thanks for everything!
After Cheryl did the first pass, she came to a stop on the line to line back up with the street cars. I got in the driver seat to move the car up and that's when I cousin mentioned the tire was flat on the driver side front. Lucky for us Frank and Amanda had a steelie with a tire on it and we swapped the rear tire to the front and put the steelie in the back and got another 4 passes. So were needing a tire asap. It has a nail in it. Ozzy first two runs were 13.6. I don't know what his other runs were. I think he only did like 3-4 passes.
Only vid I got was Cheryl's first pass. Camera doesn't take good video at night, the quality sucks and its blurry. I have no pics either. It wasn't such a great turnout. Barely anyone showed up. Thought it was going to be a nice turnout, if it was I would have had time for pictures and video. The tire problem threw my train of thought off too.
We had to wait an hr and 15 min to run because some old Camaro blows up on the track. Well the tranny blew up. It was the second car to run and wasted an hr and 15 min for everyone. Then they let the bikes run after the cleanup. Well that was another mistake because one of them spilled oil on the track. All night long there was hold ups. Which ruined the night. We got 5 passes amazingly enough. I was expecting more being that barely no one was there. But with people breaking down and spilling fluids unto the track killed it for everyone.
sounds like when me and cyndi went to pinks all out at moroso earlier this year. seemed like every 5 runs a car broke down. we were there till 230 in the morning and they still werent done yet oop: just glad noone had any major damage done to their cars k:
