Sooo... let's say they paid $50k for the car (which I doubt). Their cost was maybe $20k for the stroker and turbo. That must mean the Hennessey name is worth almost $40k. I see it ended on June 27th with no bids. Why am I not surprised?

great math Bob, 50k for the car, 20k for the stroker and turbo, and 40k to redo the car after he gets done with it. Sounds about right to me!
Supply and demand ... or in this case: implied value. If that's the open market price, then so be it. I think that's insane - I know it can be done for cheaper. But if you want that logo/name on your vehicle, you have to pay the piper. (Sleepers are cooler anyway)
I called Henessey last week regarding '08 Challenger upgrades ad they sent me a e-mail with the PDF Cat. Holy sh8t $45k for the 700+Hp stroker...get me a hit on that bong. Nice cat though:dumb:

It exists, I saw it this weekend. It didn't like starting..............it cranked and cranked and cranked and cranked and cranked and then went vrooooooom. Matter of fact James the tool even goosed it a tad pulling out of the building. I'm not impressed. :whistle:
