okay i have heard so many different damn suggestions.... Ive talked to steve @ rdp saying to keep it at .050 and i dont need the 2315 plug, and ive heard from lisa @ bmc to gap it at .035..... what the hell do i want to do leave it at the gap of .050 ? or do i want to gap it to .035 ? thanks guys !!
er can someone move this to the nitrous section damnit.... cam: so you were running .045 with spray ?
If you're getting it custom tuned, I'd go with what your tuner suggests. We have a few guys running with .035 and that's what our nitrous guy suggested as well.
Yup depending on the N20 shot is what you should set your gap.IMO anything up too 100-125 035..If you run a bigger shot you may want to widen the gap ...
What in the hell do I need a bottle for???. Fricking bottles are for guys that can't build a damn motor. :thongue2: AAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA:tomato:
scott, right now its all hooked up just need the plugs etc.... i hear its very easy to break the irdiums.. .is this true ?? i guess its safe enough to run a 125 shot right on the stock bottom end with my cmr tune
Do you have a SRT?? FYI That tard over at LX is crazy.Never heard of breaking iridiums while adjusting the gap.Unless you use a 25lb sledge hammer to do it..lol
yeah... i have a srt yes sir..... thats why i said check the "C" lol... to many idiots over there ! lol
My iriduims didnt like the boosted pressure from only 6psi. They would blow out above 5500 and they were gapped .040
I keep emphasizing CAREFULLY. In theory, you're not supposed to change the gap on Iridium plugs. The reason is the iridium tip gets broken off easily and people ruin $10 spark plugs. Just know that going in, and gap them CAREFULLY. (Have I said "carefully" enough times yet?)
