I Agree with Red. Now where is Jay Carnes so we can see what a 9 second car is I do believe that high 10's are possible in street trim. (10.6 up) We see PPP doing 11.2 on motor only now, what is a little spray on top.
LMAO. DOing some random searches this evening, and noticed this old thread. Some very interesting reading now in hindsight.
I would say if this street driven 2 ton Impy can run 9's than so can the LX's. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/101478/combination_motorsports_9_second_chevy_impala/ I come from the Impala world where I would run 13.9's on motor and 12.3's on 175 shot on my old car (national record for awhile) with just exhaust/intake and juice. The SS's had terrible transmissions but the rearends could handle slicks pretty much stock. It'll come after tuning is locked in tight and chassis is dialed in.
I am definetly going for this title for the Jeep with stock interior and exterior trim as well as my daily driver. I dont go to Irwindale every week because I'm bored. The Nitrous is going back on now that the bugs are worked out of the 426! Time to head to SAC.
