So 1fastsedan, Mol and I installed my meth kit this last weekend. Didnt take any pics because Red has some good ones already. With my boosted application I have it set to come on at about 3psi and full in by 6. I put one nozzle in front of the IAT(the m2) and then one after(m3). Its not something you feel kick in but with my gauge that monitors my IAT I saw a 20 degree drop in temp from a quick run 1st through mid 3rd. This is just with water so far. Also I had been sitting in traffic for about 30 mins so I know the water that was getting sprayed was hot to begin with. I will be mixing 50/50 this weekend. Overall 2 thumbs up!
I put the smaller of the 2 nozzles infront of it...could it over time sure. But you pay to play I really wanted the computer to see the temp dropping a bit...

Well if tuned for it performance gains can be had. It lowers intake temps as well as adds octane if you use methanol. This prevents knock and allows you to use more spark

That I do Bought 5 gallons of meth today and will mix it this weekend. Right now just water and it cools the temps by a good amount depending on how long I stay in the throttle.
Nathan has a good write up on what meth is in his vendor section Bud. I had a Snow Performance Meth kit and a long time ago meth was used simply to fix knock/lean issues but with tuning and boost the benefits are endless
Go to your nearest automotive store and look for that red liquid de-icer you spray on your windshield-yeah methanol. Most places that sell the meth kit sell the methanol or "BOOST JUICE" I know Snow Performance does. Theres methanol in glass cleaner as well, its nanotechnology at its best. Side note, anyone use VHT on their belts to prevent slippage???
From what I understand, if you're running a 50/50 mix (which is more than enough meth for less than 10psi) you can just use washer fluid.
...if you can get -20 degree blue washer fluid. Here in the land of hippies (California) we don't get the -20 stuff and everything I've seen doesn't have methanol. :dumb: We got a couple gallons of Methanol race gas and are cutting 50/50 with water.
Oh yeah! hahaha...I forgot Adam, you guys don't see the cold we do in the Midwest. I'll trade you our cold and snow for your lack of 50/50 meth washer fluid any day!
